Dr. James Rawles III

Dr. James Rawles III, a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology. He continued his education at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, where in 2012 he graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Dr. Rawles completed his General Surgery training at UNC School of Medicine- New Hanover Regional Medical Center in 2017. He completed his Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Utah in 2019. He returned home and joined Atlantic Vein & Vascular Associates, PLLC in October 2019 as a Vascular Surgeon.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and son. His hobbies include Surfboard designing and manufacturing. He is also an avid outdoorsman.
